Yes. I have an active, certified human remains detection dog and I partner with other experienced canine handlers. With my current canine, Serrano, I've worked several projects including historical searches and cold cases. See more information under the "deployments" tab.
We offer rental of unfenced 25 acres for handlers who want a private place to train or play with their dog. You can book a space and explore the trails & fields with your dog(s) or use it to work on tracking, detection, obedience or other sports. The terrain is varied, including fields, stream, valley, grassland and forest, Rentals are paid per hour, per handler and handlers must be in control of their dog(s) at all times and clean up after them. Vita K9 is located in Innisfil, Ontario on 25 acres. Training sessions and the private training area/Sniffspot is at this location.

Each dog and handler is unique and learns at their own pace. The number of sessions will be determined as part of the Discovery session, handler goals and as training progresses.
The schedule will vary based on the handler's goals, the training plan and progress. Handlers are encouraged to complete suggested "homework" between sessions.

Your dog must have up to date rabies vaccine to participate in any Vita K9 activity.
During the Discovery session we assess the dog and determine the handler's goals. At Vita K9 we educate and, as necessary, pair tools and methods that get results. Training is dynamic; some tools or methods may be used temporarily to achieve a specific outcome.
